Finnegan's Wake provides its patrons with the true and classic laid-back, good-humored, everyone-welcome Key West vibe but set in a uniquely Irish environment. Anyone who visits it and knows the bars and pubs of Ireland recognize the feeling of authenticity in the restaurant's setup, decor, and cuisine. The pub is also located on Grinnel Street, a Downtown Key West side street that allows visitors to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street.
             

This Key West restaurant offers guests three distinct areas in which to dine or drink, or both. You can choose to sit in the bar area which also has elevated tables and chairs, in the dining room with dark wooden booths, or the outdoor gardens area.
             

To eat, start with the traditional and delicious Irish potato leek soup or one of the over ten Irish-style appetizers. For your main course, Finnegan's Wake offers sandwiches, burgers, pizza, wings, and an impressive array of entrees with recipes straight from Ireland. Try toe Dublin chicken pot-pie, Dillon's Shephard pie, or the Colcannon (a scrumptious mixture of mashed potatoes, scallions, specially cooked cabbage and melted white cheddar cheese. There's a small dessert list but each dessert is packed with greatness; try the Irish Bread Pudding (bread and butter pudding soaked in honey whiskey and served on custard) or the Bailey's Mousse (a carefully concocted chocolate mousse flavored with Bailey's Irish Cream).
             

To drink, definitely opt for beer, an all-time Irish favorite. They have many unique beers served in a bottle, but the real draw for beer drinkers is the extensive draft beer list which includes Guiness, Murphy's Amber and Murphy's Stout, Fulier's Porter, Kronenbourg, Harp, Bass, Spaten Dark, Sapporo, and others that are hard to come by at other Key West restaurants and bars. 

Finnegans Wake is known for its traditional and authentic-style Irish cuisine. Some of their more popular dishes include bangers and mash, Irish stew, Dublin-style chicken potpie, and a dish called colcannon which combines mashed potatoes with scallions, sauerkraut and white cheddar cheese. Their most popular dessert is their Irish Bread pudding which is a traditional Irish bread and butter pudding soaked in a honey whiskey sauce, served on custard, and topped with whipped cream. The Key West restaurant also offers patrons several vegetarian options. They also have one of most impressive draft beer selections in Key West with about 27 beers including many that are hard to find anywhere else on the island.
